Myriam Bouchard, MBA

As a young entrepreneur, she started her first business, The Workshops of the Path, at 22 by creating and executing a personalized marketing strategy for alternative health care professionals interested in giving seminars and workshops. This endeavor led to the first three-day alternative healthcare conference in Quebec in 1987, Le Festival Sante Croissance, with over 100 seminars offered in a multitude of disciplines over two days.
Her passion for everything business-related led her to pursue a formal education and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business, Management and Economics at Empire State College, followed by an MBA from Syracuse University. She worked as a business advisor for the NYS Small Business Development Center for over 13 years, winning a multitude of awards as one of the top performers out of the 200 statewide consultants. During this time, she helped thousands of entrepreneurs do feasibility analyses, often leading to successful endeavors and at other times, the numbers exposing the hurdles of starting or expanding a business.
An experienced public speaker, she was an adjunct professor at the Marist College School of Management and the SUNY New Paltz School of Business.
Myriam truly enjoys working with established businesses, casting over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur in helping a businesses grow, whether it is reviewing a profit and loss statement to help with cash flow issues, discussing marketing and pricing strategies to increase revenues, or reviewing organizational charts to improve workflow.
Her work includes aligning one’s personal aspirations and values with the business goals to ensure long-term success and happiness.
Myriam is also an Interfaith Minister and is fluent in French.

Interests and Activities
She is a committed year-round outdoors enthusiast, practices yoga and meditation, is a part-time writer and artist, and her multitude of hobbies nourish her profoundly.
Treasurer and Board Member at Re>Think Local, an organization dedicated to localism and triple-bottom-line economic thinking, by placing equal emphasis on a healthy environment, community well-being, and financial profit.
Volunteer at Hospice Hudson Valley, to provide comfort, support, and companionship to terminally ill patients and their families. She is a certified end-of-life Doula, providing vigil for the dying.
